Pamela Edgehill

Pamela graduated as a dental nurse from Trinity in 2004, and worked in an orthodontic practice in Kildare as a dental nurse until 2017. In 2016 Pamela returned to Trinity to study orthodontic therapy, and graduated with Distinction in 2017. Pamela joined the Kylemore Dental Clinic in 2018 as an orthodontic therapist. Pamela is married to Ronan and a little boy Albert. Her interests are gardening/nature, cooking/baking, millinery, interior design, Art and country music.

Karen Hayden

Karen graduated as a Dental Nurse from University College Cork in 2015. Since then she has completed a number of courses including oral health education, dental radiography and orthodontic nursing. Karen then went on to study orthodontic therapy in Trinity College Dublin and graduated with Distinction in 2019. Karen joined the Ormond Orthodontics’ team in 2018. In her spare time Karen likes taking lots of walks, loves Pilates and spending time with her family and friends.

Helena O’Connor

Helena is a receptionist for our Kilkenny practice and her role includes accounts, appointment bookings and dealing with queries. Helena is one of our longest serving members of staff having joined the team in September 2006. Helena is married to James and they have two children. On her downtime Helena enjoys walking and running

Carol Hickey

Carol is a receptionist for both our Kilkenny and Thurles practices. She enjoys meeting all our patients and assisting them with their appointments and queries. Carol is another of our long serving members of staff having joined the team shortly before her sister, Helena, in 2005. Carol has two children. She is heavily involved with her local hurling club and is the Secretary of their juvenile club. Carol enjoys going out for long walks with her family and loves reading.

Fiona Jordan

Fiona is a receptionist for our Kilkenny practice. Fiona really enjoys interacting with different people every day. She joined the Ormond Orthodontics’ team in March 2015. Fiona is married to Joey and they have two sons. Fiona has a big interest in Strength and Conditioning training and really enjoys coaching S&C to her local clubs. Fiona has 3 All Ireland Club Camogie titles with her local club, Myshall.

Kathleen Healy

Kathleen trained as a Dental Nurse in Kilkenny and graduated in 2005. She is the longest serving member of staff having joined the Ormond Orthodontics’ team in 2002. Kathleen is married to Nicky and they have two children. She loves walking, reading and horses. Kathleen is currently busy caring for the family’s new miniature dachshund puppy Troopz!

Andrea Martin

Andrea trained as a Dental Nurse at Athlone Institute of Technology and graduated in 2016. She then completed a post-grad in Dental Practice Management with Oral Health Promotion in 2017. Andrea joined the Ormond Orthodontics’ team later that same year. Outside of work Andrea enjoys the outdoors, walking and spending time with family and friends.

Rebecca Kinchella

Rebecca trained as a Dental Nurse at Athlone Institute of Technology and graduated with a Higher Certificate in Dental Nursing in 2014. Rebecca spent a number of happy years in Australia before returning home. She joined the Ormond Orthodontics’ team in February 2019. Rebecca was a member of the Kilkenny swimming club and was also a lifeguard. Outside of work Rebecca loves to spend time with her friends and family, especially her mischievous niece Belle and nephew Joey!

Bridget Browne

Bridget trained as a Dental Nurse in University College Cork and graduated in 2017. Having worked initially in generally dentistry in Cork Bridget joined the Ormond Orthodontics’ team in February 2019. Previously, Bridget spent 20 years in London working for the renowned children’s publisher Walker Books Ltd. While there she also spent many happy years playing gaelic football, camogie and soccer, and has one All-Ireland football medal with London. On her return to Tipperary Bridget fell in love with mountaineering and loves to conquer new summits both in Ireland and abroad. She also enjoys gardening and reading.

Sarah Everard

Sarah trained as a Dental Nurse in the Dublin Dental School & Hospital and graduated with a National Certificate in December 2006. Sarah spent a number of years working with specialists in Periodontics and Orthodontics in Dublin before returning home to Tipperary. Sarah joined the Ormond Orthodontics’ team in October 2019. Sarah is married to Pierce and they have four children. Sarah recently qualified as an RLSS lifeguard.

Mary Looby

Mary trained as a Dental Nurse in Trinity College Dublin and graduated in 1998. She then went on to train as a Dental Hygienist in University College Cork and graduated in 2001. Mary spent a year working in private practice in London before settling back home. She joined the HSE and general dental practice in 2003. Mary joined the Ormond Orthodontics’ team in 2010. Mary is married to Tommy and they have three children. Mary is a keen follower of camogie having played with Drom and Inch, and Tipperary for many years.

Thomas Franco

Tomas is from the Czech Republic but moved to Ireland in 2013. He joined the Ormond Orthodontics’ team in 2014. Tomas has a son, Conor and they spend a lot of time cycling and enjoying the outdoors. Tomas is also a very keen photographer.
